Call for Partners:
We are interested in studying the interactions between natural compounds (phytochemicals) and cellular proteins. Recently, we focused on colon cancer cells and identified the binding targets of several phytochemicals, like capsaicin and triptolide. Our results clarify the molecular mechanism of tested compounds with a proteomic method, thermal proteome profiling. Possible applications can be extended to future drug development.
If you have functional molecules, like compounds from traditional Thai herbs, we will be very interested in the collaboration of identifying their binding targets.
