Prof. Lu’s research interests are mainly in the fields of catalyst synthesis for environmental remediation, desulfurization process for fuel and disinfection technology. He has more than 60 patents in the field of chemical and environmental engineering and has won more than 60 medal awards in different international invention competitions. To date, Prof. Lu has supervised more than 97 PhD and master students from different universities in Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.
