Dr. Yi-Chun Chen received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in the Department of Forestry from National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan, in 2003 and 2005; Ph.D. degree in Department of Chemical Engineering, National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2012. In 2013-2014, she was the visiting researcher of the Department of Materials Engineering at The University of Tokyo in Japan. Then, she joins InnoCept Biomaterials, Inc. In Feb. 2015, she moved to the Department of Forestry, National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan, where she was an Assistant Professor. She got promoted to associate professor in August 2019. Her research interests include bio-based materials utilization, functional polymers and nanomaterials.
